If you're unsure where to start, the FD30 internal range is the most commonly specified door in the UK.

Flush fire doors have a smooth, unbroken leaf with no glazing — the lowest-cost, most robust option. Glazed fire doors include one or more vision panels of pyro-resistant glass, allowing visibility and natural light. Glazed doors typically cost 15-30% more than equivalent flush doors. Yes — we manufacture made-to-measure fire doors for non-standard openings. They are available in FD30 and FD60 ratings, all standard materials, and with glazed or flush options. Lead time is 2-3 weeks from order confirmation — the same as standard sizes. Provide your exact dimensions when requesting a quote.

Most of our fire doors are supplied as FD30S or FD60S — the "S" denotes smoke seals as standard. Smoke seals are required at flat entrance doors and most internal fire doors in residential buildings. If you specifically need a door without smoke seals (rare — usually only for plant rooms or industrial settings), specify "no smoke seals" in the quote request.

We supply paint-grade plywood (most economical, ideal for projects where the door will be painted), and natural veneers in oak, ash, sapele, and walnut. Each finish is available across most product lines. For very specific requirements (matching existing joinery, listed-building work) we can also supply factory-finished doors painted to a colour reference.
